Diving in the Red Sea

We have recently finished a week diving in the Red Sea aboard the Ghazala Explorer. We visited the Brothers, Daedalus Reef and Elphinstone and had some great dives. Altogether I did 18 dives out of a possible 19 so the pace was fairly full on.

I didn’t do a huge amount of photography during the week as I only took my GoPro into the water. But we did have several Dolphin sightings including Bottlenose and these lovely Spinner Dolphins.

I added a couple new gulls to my life list including a distant Sooty Gull and several closer White-Eyed Gulls.

Underwater we visited a couple of wrecks including Numidia and Salem Express.

The reef seemed in good condition with a lovely variety of fish on the reef and larger targets possible in the big blue.

Highly recommend Ghazala Explorer and Ocean Tribe if you are looking for a live aboard in the Red Sea. Great service and diving.
